Kelly Chemane Packard was born in Glendale, California, and grew up in Arizona. She later moved to Canyon Country, California. Packard began her career in television commercials at the age of 8 before going on to win the title of Miss California Pre-Teen in 1988. In her early teens, she made the transition to series television with guest appearances in such series as The Wonder Years, Boy Meets World, Step by Step and Living Dolls. At the beginning of the third season, Kelly Packard joined TBS Superstation's RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT! as the series' live-event correspondent. This dazzling beauty hosts outrageous feats taped before audiences at such diverse locations as a Hollywood Blvd. intersection, the Las Vegas Strip and stadiums across the country.
Packard starred for two seasons as the fashion-designing lifeguard April on the long-running series Baywatch. Prior to that, she starred for five seasons as Tiffani on NBC's popular teen comedy series California Dreams. Most recently, Packard has been seen in the Sega video arcade game Kelly Packard's Golden Cue. She also recently hosted Secret Beaches, a special for the Travel Channel. She will soon be seen in Mind Wars and in the independent film Get Your Stuff, a romantic comedy co-starring David Faustino.
